Attention, boarding passengers! Our little travelers are accumulating experiences, and among them are those of travel. Cars, trains, buses, boats, and... airplanes! Is there anything more exciting for a child than getting on a plane? So big, so fast, reaching the clouds... However, we know that when we plan a trip with children, our organizational and planning capacity must multiply to make the trip as pleasant as possible. That's why today we bring you some tips that will make your trip with children on a plane more pleasant:
- DOCUMENTS: don't forget to have your little one's ID or passport. If it's not a domestic trip, they will need it to fly, and you will be asked for it at boarding.
- YOUR AIRLINE: before buying tickets, check the websites of different airlines to find out their conditions for children (included luggage, special fares, etc.).

- FOOD: if your little one needs to eat during the flight, you can carry powdered milk in containers as well as the necessary liquids for preparation. You can also bring cookies or bread rolls for the journey, but keep in mind that you cannot take any animal products or dairy through security.
- DEHYDRATION: the dry, pressurized air in cabins can cause dehydration, so it's very important for little ones to drink frequently before and during the flight. It's also a good idea to have a cream to keep them moisturized along the way.

- PRESSURE: takeoff and landing cause pressure changes in planes, which can cause ear discomfort for little ones. To alleviate this, it is recommended to breastfeed, give them a bottle, or let them suck on a pacifier.
- FUN: children need to have fun and play, so don't forget their favorite toys. Try to choose ones that will keep them entertained without making too much noise.
- ESSENTIALS KIT: don't forget to prepare a small bag with those essentials for leaving home. Diapers, wipes, a blanket, a change of clothes...

- CRIBS: for the youngest, if the journey is very long, you can request a crib from the airline when making the reservation. This will make the trips more comfortable and safe.
- BABIES AND CHILDREN: this may vary depending on the airline, but as a general rule, babies between 0 and 23 months will pay a percentage of the fare and will sit on their parents' lap with a special seatbelt. From 24 months onwards, children will sit in their own seat with an adapted seatbelt.
- LUGGAGE: normally, little ones are allowed one bag as carry-on luggage that must fit under the seat. In addition, most airlines allow one or two additional items, including baby strollers, portable cribs, or car seats. It is important to note that these items will be tagged at the baggage check-in counter.
That said, are you ready to travel?
