Does it seem like your child is eager to take their first steps? Here are some games to help them prepare for the big moment. We also provide some tips to make your home a safe place when they start walking

Is your little one already crawling at full speed, moving around the house by holding onto furniture, sofas, and walls? You're right... it won't be long until they start walking. In weeks or months, your child will begin a new adventure. They'll be able to walk and run like grown-ups, and their desire to discover and explore will be stronger than ever. Today, we want to give you two key pieces of information: first, the toys that will help improve their muscles and motor skills, and build confidence so they're ready when it's time to start walking. And second, we'll give you some tips to prepare your home for their new needs.

Hand in hand: There's nothing our little ones love more than taking their first steps with us. Without forcing them, waiting for them to initiate this movement, we can accompany them by holding one or two hands. If you take them to the park, the countryside, or any outdoor space, they'll be even more stimulated to explore. When they're ready, you can gradually remove support until they only need to hold one of your fingers. They will gain autonomy, security, and independence.

Ride-on toys: These will become their favorite toy. Choose the one you like best: a quad, motorcycle, or bike. It will help them improve psychomotor skills, develop spatial perception, and strengthen leg and torso muscles, facilitating the process of learning to walk.

Pedal: Take advantage of bath time, diaper changes, or playtime to help them move their legs to strengthen them. You'll be helping them exercise, and your little one will surely have a blast.

Here are some tips to help them gain strength and dexterity. Now is the time to prepare your home to make it a safe space for little adventurers. It's important to place corner protectors on tables and furniture; it's also advisable to install outlet covers; safety latches for drawers; and to secure dressers, shelves, and any other furniture that could tip over.
