Welcome, spring! Nature begins to reawaken: bare trees start to dress themselves with leaves, flowers paint the fields with a thousand colors, the weather shows us all its varieties (wind, rain, sun…), the days get longer and it seems like we all feel a stronger urge to go outside, to explore, and to enjoy everything that's out there. Our little ones are no exception; they are eager to discover and play outdoors. It's ideal to take advantage of this extra motivation our children now have to teach them concepts that will help them grow responsibly. What activities can we do with children to celebrate spring together? Here are some ideas!
PLANTING SEEDS: How is it possible that something so simple can bring so much joy? To do this activity, we will only need a cup, cotton moistened with water, and 4-5 lentils. We will place the wet cotton and the lentils in the cup and see how, after a few days, the lentils start to sprout and a beautiful green stem with tiny leaves will emerge. The process is beautiful and exciting for the little ones. Are you up for it?
GATHERING FLOWERS: Visit the countryside, the mountains, or parks. The spectacle is out there. Discover the colors, shapes, and different textures, and organize your own special nature walk. Plus, if you end the morning or afternoon with a picnic, it will be even more fun and enriching. Take advantage of playtime to incorporate healthy snacks and fruits into the picnic. Being in a natural environment will improve their predisposition towards these foods. Are you joining in?
GARDEN TOYS: Are you among the lucky ones who have an outdoor play area? If so, slides and playhouses will be the star pieces of your garden. With the slide, you'll promote activity, movement, and fun, and with the playhouses, you'll encourage imagination and the adoption of different roles. Want to see our selection of outdoor toys? PLAN A CAMPING TRIP: What better way to welcome spring than by experiencing nature firsthand for an entire day? Now that the weather is better, it's the ideal time to pitch a tent and engage in scout-style activities. Hiking, bird watching, gathering wild berries, sleeping under the stars… Are you ready for the adventure? You're sure to make the experience unforgettable.

How have you decided to welcome spring? Tell us your plans with the kids.
