HOW TO TRAVEL WITH CHILDREN

Traveling with children can be a great experience or a crazy few days. The key is planning. Here are some tips to make your trip magical

The long-awaited holidays arrive, and what used to be packing a quick small suitcase and catching the first available plane or train now, with children, runs the risk of becoming a real ordeal. Traveling with children can become an ideal experience to strengthen relationships and teach them countless things. What is the key to making this trip a great experience and not a crazy one? Planning. We are going to give you some tricks that will help you organize your trip with children to make it a complete success. Let's get to it!:

  • Information: This is essential for good foresight. Find out about the weather, the most interesting places to visit with children, if there are accessible routes for strollers, if the hotel has special dishes for the little ones… prepared parents are worth two. Make a list of all your questions and get them answered before you leave.
  •  Schedules: If you have to make medium-to-long journeys, it's ideal to do it at night or during nap times. Take advantage of their sleeping hours to travel, and you'll have a much more relaxed trip.
  •  First-aid kit: When we go to an unfamiliar place, having to rush out to find the nearest pharmacy can be truly stressful. Put together a simple first-aid kit with the essentials to attend to your child if they fall or feel unwell.
  • Flexibility: Although planning will help us, you need to travel with an open mind and be flexible. Children have their own rhythms, and changes in routine can affect them. Be flexible and patient. Enjoy the moment, the place, and, above all, the company.
  • Toys: Don't forget their favorite toys. Little ones need to play, and toys will greatly help you keep them entertained.
  •  Snacks: When we are on the road, our meal times might get out of whack. Go out with healthy snacks so you can have small meals in case you have to eat lunch or dinner later.

And with all this, we are ready to enjoy, create experiences, and make beautiful family memories.
