5 IDEAS TO ENJOY WITH YOUR GRANDCHILDREN

On Grandparents' Day, we bring you some ideas so you can enjoy your time with your grandchildren even more

July 26 is International Grandparents' Day. What would parents do without the support, advice, and fun that grandparents provide? They have become essential pillars for families and, more importantly, they play a crucial role with our children: confidantes, playmates, teachers of a little bit of everything, cooks of their favorite dishes... For this and much more, today we want to congratulate them and thank them for all the effort, affection, and dedication they put into the little ones. In addition, to continue doing our part, we want to list some of the most successful games to share between grandparents and grandchildren. Are you up for it?:

  • Nature walk: sometimes the most basic is the most fun. Go to a park, the mountains, or the beach and enjoy the animals and vegetation for a while. If you also accompany the walk with a little story from when you were a child, the day will be perfect.
  • Create a family tree: look for photographs and prepare your family tree together. Children love to know their roots and investigate the most notable stories of each of their relatives.
  • Cooking: Who can resist preparing their favorite sweet? It will be a rewarding activity both when making the cake and when sharing it with the rest of the family.
  • Create a hobby: do you like to knit? Football? Do you collect coins? Share your hobbies with your grandchildren. Teach them and let them enjoy your passions, you will find a great ally.
  • Gardening: little ones love to cultivate, plant, and water. It's a great reward to see the seeds they sow sprout. If you have little space, opt for germinating some lentils in a small jar, and if you have land, sow vegetables and fruits with them so they can then taste them with the rest of the family. You'll see their proud face!

We hope all these ideas help you spend quality time with your grandchildren. However, you and the time you share will always be their best gift.
