If your little one resists eating fruit, here's your best summer ally. We've got four simple recipes for you to share with your mini chefs:

1. Strawberry and Banana Ice Cream:

Ingredients:

- 2 ripe bananas

- 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries

- 1/2 cup plain yogurt

- 2 tablespoons honey or sugar (optional)

Instructions:

1. Peel the bananas and slice them.

2. Wash and cut the strawberries into pieces.

3. Place the bananas, strawberries, yogurt, and honey or sugar in a blender or food processor.

4. Blend until smooth and homogeneous.

5. Pour the mixture into ice cream molds or small cups and insert an ice cream stick into each.

6. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely firm.


2. Lemon Sorbet:

Ingredients:

- Juice of 4 lemons

- 1 cup water

- 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions:

1. Squeeze the lemon juice and set aside.

2. In a saucepan, heat the water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then, remove from heat and let cool.

3. Mix the sugar syrup with the lemon juice and stir well.

4. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe dish.

5. Place the dish in the freezer and every 30 minutes, scrape with a fork to break up ice crystals.

6. Repeat this process for about 3-4 hours until the sorbet is well-granulated and has a smooth texture.


3. Chocolate and Banana Ice Cream:

Ingredients:

- 2 ripe bananas

- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/2 cup milk (you can use cow's milk, almond milk, or coconut milk)

- 2 tablespoons peanut butter (optional)

- 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (optional)


Instructions:

1. Peel the bananas and slice them.

2. Place the bananas in a bag or container and freeze for at least 2 hours.

3. In a blender or food processor, combine the frozen bananas, cocoa powder, milk, and peanut butter (if desired) and blend until creamy.

4. Taste the mixture and add honey or sugar if you prefer a sweeter taste.

5. Pour the mixture into ice cream molds or small cups and insert an ice cream stick into each.

6. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.

4. Pineapple and Coconut Sorbet:

Ingredients:

- 2 cups fresh pineapple, cut into chunks (you can use frozen pineapple)

- 1 cup coconut milk

- 1/4 cup lemon juice

- 1/4 cup sugar (optional)

Instructions:

1. Place the pineapple in a blender or food processor and blend until it forms a smooth puree.

2. Add the coconut milk, lemon juice, and sugar (if desired) and mix well.

3. Taste the mixture and adjust the amount of sugar or lemon to your preference.

4. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe dish.

5. Place the dish in the freezer and every 30 minutes, scrape with a fork to break up ice crystals.

6. Repeat this process for about 3-4 hours until the sorbet has a smooth, granita-like texture.
