A few days ago, we had the opportunity to participate in the 5th National Connected Industry Congress, thanks to the CEIV Cluster of Innovative Companies Valle del Juguete. Under the theme "The toy sector in the 21st century: Keys to its digitalization," the evolution of the toy industry was debated, along with the sector's efforts to adapt to changes and new trends over the years.
Some of the topics covered included how digitalization has brought about a significant strategic change in management, manufacturing processes, and new sales channels; the value consumers place on new products where the technological factor is increasingly important; and the challenges and opportunities our industry faces for the future.
INJUSA wanted to contribute its grain of sand to all these topics, sharing its vision and the work being done by the company to adapt to the changes the sector has undergone throughout history. Our colleague Yesica Jiménez, Injusa's Communication Director, accompanied by Hector Torrente Pastor from IBIAE Association of Entrepreneurs, Camilo Bernabeu from Muñecas Paola Reina, and Tamara Aguilar from Aiju Technological Institute of Children's Product and Leisure, had the opportunity to highlight the strategic steps the toy industry has taken towards a digitalized future. Based on the fact that it is a sector that was originally based on very artisanal processes, the enormous effort the sector has made to adapt to changes over the years is even more evident.
Injusa is a company with more than 70 years of experience in which digitalization has been a key factor to continue advancing in the sector and currently covers almost all areas of the company, from administration, manufacturing, warehouse... Not only has digitalization helped us to streamline internal management processes, but it has also revolutionized the way toys are manufactured, where the digital component is becoming increasingly important. But how do consumers value this greater presence of technology in toys? Perhaps we are facing a duality where, despite the fact that technological products have a greater presence in the market, traditional toys must continue to exist because they provide essential aspects for the development of children. That is why, in our company, electric cars and ride-ons, electric bicycles and slides coexist in harmony... Each one fulfills a function and each one has a moment.
There are many challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, and the toy industry has been able to adapt to market changes and trends. We are committed to innovation in products and processes.
At INJUSA, we make a great effort in R&D&I and work every day to offer quality and innovative products, hand in hand with technology and always seeking continuous improvement to perfect and expand our collection of toys and with the aim of continuing to grow as a brand.
