Sometimes you write to us because the batteries haven't been used for a long time and, when you went to use them, they gave you problems. You also tend to ask for advice on the best way to care for toy batteries so that they last much longer. Other times, the electric vehicle is old and in perfect condition, but the battery has stopped working. We have answers for everything! Today we'll answer some of the most frequently asked questions:
My electric motorcycle or car hasn't been used for a long time, and now I can't get it to work. What can I do?
If your toy is 6 or 12 V, you should check if the charger lights up a bright red light when plugged in (without connecting it to the product). If the light turns on, it indicates that the charger is working correctly, but if it doesn't turn on, it shows that the problem is with the charger.
Once you've verified that the charger is working correctly, you can plug the cable into the product. Once connected, the charger light will become dimmer. When the battery is fully charged, the light will turn a bright red. If this light does not change intensity after 12 hours, the problem is with the battery.
If your toy has a 24 V battery, a green light will turn on when you plug in the charger. When the battery is connected, the light should turn red, and once fully charged, the light will turn green again.
How should I maintain my battery so that it lasts as long as possible?
If you want your Injusa toy battery to last for a very, very long time, you should keep some instructions in mind:
- The first time you use your vehicle, you must make sure to charge the battery for at least 10-12 hours (30 hours maximum).
- When you finish using the toy, you must charge the battery immediately and connect it for at least 8 hours. Leaving the battery uncharged can damage it.
- After a full charge, if the vehicle is not used, it should be maintained for two or three months. It is important that if you are going to store the toy for a long time without using it, you store the battery fully charged and disconnected. This will prevent it from being damaged.
